“Their Second Skin” is our third volume focused on study of basic equipment of the German soldier in the Second World War, so Belts (and Buckles), Y-Straps and Ammunition Pouches for the Kar98k, with a space also for Bayonets and Bayonet Frogs, Shovels and Shovel Carriers. This follows our previous publications “Bevevano e Mangiavano” and “Achtung Achtung Gasalarm!” in the perspective of completing a series of studies all dedicated to German militaria objects which, up to now, have been treated always and only marginally.
